3M™Novec™ EGC-1700 Electronic Coating
This coating is easy to apply and dries to a thin transparent film. The low surface energy film repels liquids such as lubricating oils, silicones and photoresist solutions used in the manufacturing of semiconductors. This coating requires no masking in most applications, and it air-dries in seconds.

This coating can be used in the disk drive, MEMS, LCD and printed circuit board industries to provide anti-wetting, anti-stiction, anti-migration and anti-corrosion properties. It is a replacement for Fluorad™ coating FC-722, FC-724, FC-725 and FC-732.

When applied to clean, moisture-free surfaces such as copper, aluminum, ceramic, steel, tin or glass, Novec coating EGC-1700 dries to a thin transparent film with excellent anti-wetting, anti-stiction, anti-migration and anti-corrosion properties.
